Overview
The Regional Scheduler performs all aspects of scheduling, including daily, nightly, and weekend assignments, as defined by the specific needs of the platform and/or designated region and in compliance with the guidelines and directives issued by the Board of Directors and Scheduling Committee. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering incoming calls from physicians and staff, hospitals, surgery centers, and patients, entering data, and maintaining multiple databases.
At this time, US Anesthesia Partners does not hire candidates residing in California, Hawaii, or Alaska.
The base pay estimate for this role is $19.95 - $31.92 hourly. The final offer will depend on the skills, experience, and qualifications of the selected candidate. This range is for base pay only and does not include bonuses or other compensation. This position is eligible for a quarterly bonus. Bonuses are not guaranteed and are awarded based on company and individual performance.

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years’ related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of medical practices and terminology.
• Ability to self-manage and assist co-workers as needed.
• Previous surgery scheduling experience is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to handle a large volume of phone and computer work.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business reports, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work shifts varying daily per business demands; overtime may be required.
• Ability to travel locally (greater metropolitan area) for meetings, training, and customer service.
