POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for overall management of all aspects of Anesthesia On Call’s (AOC) Locum Tenens recruitment team, to include the recruitment and placement of Anesthesia Clinicians in our clients' service. Responsibilities include effectively leading a department of recruiters, developing strategic sourcing strategies, tactical recruitment tasks, KPI and compensation management, collaborating with Operations, Sales, and Account Manager counterparts, and management/coordination of all candidate and client relationship issues.

  • Leads the enterprise function in recruiting and sourcing candidates for AOC through the execution of best practice methodologies for sourcing and recruiting.
  • Strategically directs the overall function of the AOC recruitment team through planning, development, implementation, and relationship maintenance, focusing on people, processes, and technology.
  • Overall responsibility for the selection, hiring, and training of staff personnel within the team. This includes performance evaluation, recruitment & retention.
  • Accountable for setting and managing performance expectations of staff, as well as training, motivating, and encouraging professional growth.
  • Sets the cadence and direct recruitment team meetings. This includes weekly team standups, strategy meetings, training, evaluations, and feedback sessions.
  • Ensures recruitment activity is properly monitored and evaluated through the Bullhorn CRM, ensuring feedback is used to maximize the efficient delivery of recruitment outcomes.
  • Accurately assesses, plans, and directs services using a collaborative process, according to the scope of service offered that is consistent with resource allocation, organization policies and operational plans.
  • Develops and recommends strategies to support and enhance company policies and programs.
  • Builds effective relationships and responds quickly to emerging customer recruitment opportunities and provides for seamless execution of the company’s business processes that exceed customer expectations.
  • Adjusts recruitment strategy and outcomes through continuous assessment of the client’s needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintains overall accountability/responsibility for all aspects of the program to include, including management of resources and expenditures within established budgetary standards.
  • Adheres to annual goals and builds team, strategies, culture, etc. to achieve targets.
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • Interprets company policies, objectives, and operational procedures to the infrastructure and network staff.
  • Practices and adheres to the AOCs Code of Conduct philosophy and AOCs Mission and Values.
  • Travel 25%

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of healthcare staffing experience, preferably with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Sales-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated ability to manage objections and navigate complex negotiations.
  • Experience in mentoring or training new hires and/or managing key client accounts, preferred.
  • Experience in using CRM and/or ATS systems to manage performance and other KPIs, with proficiency in Bullhorn strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading large-scale business transformation programs or implementations preferred.
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels, including hospital executives.
