We are driven by operational excellence and data-informed decision making to unlock value for our physician partners. We are seeking a motivated Operations Intern to join our Orlando team. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience through the development of a capstone project in healthcare administration while supporting our operational team. The preceptor will offer the intern diverse learning experiences based on departmental priorities and initiatives as well as individual interests.

 

This is an onsite, part time internship position based out of our Maitland, FL office. Seeking Spring/Summer 2026 grads enrolled in a healthcare-focused Masters program at the University of Central Florida. 

Job Highlights

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides administrative support for clinical and non-clinical leadership.
  • Assists with administrative tasks, data entry and analysis, as well as document management.
  • Supports the scheduling and coordination of meetings and events.
  • Attends various meetings with clinicians such as clinical governance board meetings.
  • Collaborates with team members on various projects and initiatives.
  • Assists in preparing reports and presentations as needed.
  • Participates in team meetings and contributes ideas for process improvements.
  • Assists with special projects as requested relating to practice growth and development.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program related to healthcare administration, business, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Prior experience in an administrative role or healthcare setting is a plus, but not required.
