The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with employment legislation and USAP policies to secure talent in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner while promoting diverse and inclusive hiring practices. The incumbent will help review, implement, and improve the company’s recruitment processes.

Job Highlights

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation)

  • Works collaboratively with the multi-practice clinical governance board chairs, recruitment committee chairs, SVPs and CFOs to develop proactive recruitment strategies, goals, and reporting that meet the current and projected staffing needs
  • Supervises the statewide FL recruitment team of 3 to 6 members. This includes recruitment assignments, reviewing hiring production, setting team goals, supervising event management, and academic outreach initiatives
  • In partnership with practice leadership, facilitate recruitment meetings, problem-solving sessions, CGB briefings, and shareholder meetings
  • Talent sourcing and events: Conduct analysis, assess results, and identify areas of opportunity and change. Use this data to evaluate sourcing team effectiveness, progress and process improvements, and ultimate ROI
  • Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Recruitment lead or participate in enterprise initiatives and collaborates in national goal setting.
  • Facilitates collaboration between legal, marketing, accounting, HR, and HRIS and the recruitment team.
  • Ensures that the practice-wide application process and candidate experience from start to finish is compliant, compelling, and consistent.
  • Conduct periodic training of recruiters and practice clinicians participating in recruitment to ensure recruitment best practices are maintained. This includes adherence to compliant recruiting and hiring practices to minimize risk to the organization
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge and compliance with federal and state employment laws and guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field is required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in recruitment.
  • 3+ years of direct supervisor experience preferred.
  • Background in healthcare, particularly in anesthesia, is preferred.
  • Solid attention to detail is a must.
  • Experience and knowledge navigating an HRIS system preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
