The Finance Manager will serve as a business partner to various functional leaders of the North Texas business. This person will lead key financial reporting & analysis activities, drive operating expense visibility across the platform, participate in budgeting and forecasting procedures, and assist in physician compensation preparation. This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite) at the Dallas office.

Job Highlights

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation)

 

  • Analyze financial data to explain variance drivers, identify trends, and call attention to opportunities to improve performance.
  • Participate in month end close and lead budget variance analysis process
  • Own operating expense reporting for entire platform, with focus on headcount and cost stewardship
  • Assist with annual operating budget and forecasting process.
  • Pursue continuous improvement of data collection, analytical processes, reporting methods, and financial modeling techniques.
  • Provide support with the physician compensation processes and help drive analytical support to the leadership team and physician partners.
  • Develop and continuously improve processes, financial models and provide analytical support to all MSO employees and clinicians.
  • Participate with tasks and special projects as assigned.
  • Collaborates with the other finance department employees to support overall department goals and objectives.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or appropriate field of study required.
  • CPA or MBA is also preferred
  • Healthcare experience industry preferred
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience in similar duties
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivots, modeling, data extractions) and other financial reporting software.
  • Experience working in and extracting data from ERP software
  • Multi-divisional budgeting or accounting experience, statistical background with experience in financial projections, and/or macro level working knowledge of operations is preferred.
