We offer a competitive benefits package.   Due to our continued growth, we are looking to fulfill a full-time position for a scheduling lead to coordinate our clinicians annual, monthly, and daily assignments.

Job Highlights

  • Effectively and proactively communicates with administrators, surgery schedulers, medical directors, physicians, hospital, and clinical staff regarding scheduling demands
  • Efficiently obtains and manages patient data from various hospitals and surgery centers, while maintaining confidentiality to ensure PHI is protected.
  • Assist with preparing and reviewing all daily anesthesia assignments in accordance with guidelines and directives issued by the Board of Directors and Scheduling Committee
  • Maintain accurate existing spreadsheets that are used for tracking anesthesia provider’s preferences, work roles, and facility privileges
  • Maintain meetings, givebacks, and special requests for our 75+ anesthesiologists as well as our 150+ CRNAs/CAAs
  • Must be able to understand existing policies, implement them fairly and explain policies to interested parties in collegial manner 
  • Disseminates final schedules to all locations of service as well as anesthesia providers
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • Previous administrative work, especially in medical field, is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Critical thinking and analytic skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office applications, especially Excel

Working conditions

  • Comfortable in stressful situations with a daily deadline for clinicians’ assignments
  • Ability to effectively communicate with various providers, including Anesthesiologists, surgeons, CRNAs, CAAs, and hospital staff, in a calm and polite manner regardless of the situation
