The Accounts Receivable Representative IIis responsible for collecting outstanding accounts receivable from third party payers; both government and commercial. This position is on-site, 5 days a week at our offices located at : 3705 Medical Parkway, #570 Austin, TX 78705 . Performs administrative duties for direct reports as required which may include a combination of various support functions including but not limited to details of critical/confidential nature, multi-tasking at various levels of support and providing direct communication, as needed, internally and externally to the company in support of the leader and/or team.
The Billing Specialist I utilizes knowledge of insurance regulations, health insurance contracts, medical coding, and bookkeeping to perform a variety of revenue cycle support activities. These include but are not limited to medical coding, insurance verification, ensuring the accuracy of the information housed in the practice management system, preparing deposits, collecting, posting, and managing account payments, submitting accurate claims, and following up on accounts. The individual in this role will serve as the key point of contact for coding and documentation information for ProFee coding in the hospital and ASC setting, providing feedback, and charge capture resolution.
