    USAP was founded seven years ago to help better serve anesthesiologists, hospitals, and patients alike. Today, USAP is breaking new ground on how it manages the revenue cycle with new methods and technologies. The Revenue Strategy Associate role was created to drive innovation within the revenue cycle organization. Successful candidates should have a quantitative background, be a strategic thinker, be comfortable working with big data, be an excellent communicator at the management and executive level and be able to be a ‘jack of all trades’ with their skillset. This role is excellent for former consultants looking to do a pre-MBA healthcare focused role.

    Responsibilities

    • Create presentations and reports for management and executive presentations
    • Identifying qualitative and quantitative analyses required and executing on them
    • Work with others to identify problems, design solutions, and quantify potential bottom-line financial impact
    • Synthesize impactful findings, develop recommendations, and help present recommendations to senior management
    • Help drive decision-making and program execution
    • Work on multiple projects across different data sets with multiple deadlines
    • Utilize database programs to mine data sources and look for trends using SQL, Excel, Power BI and other BI tools as needed
    • Analyze and understand big data
    • Perform data analysis to identify and understand anomalies

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferred business or STEM focus
    • 3+ years of related experience 
    • Prior work with big data required, technical ability in SQL an asset
    • Advanced aptitude in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and problem solving
    • Self-motivated with a sense of autonomy, initiative and responsibility
    • Comfortable interacting and presenting findings to senior management
    • Collaborative spirit
    • T-SQL through Microsoft SQL Management Studio experience preferred 
    • Power BI experience preferred
