    We are actively recruiting and have immediate openings for independent providers for CRNA's through US Anesthesia Partners of Kansas. These positions are located at St. Catherine’s Hospital in Garden City, KS. 

     

    St. Catherine Hospital is the regional healthcare hub for all of western Kansas. With 132 licensed beds, St. Catherine Hospital uses the latest innovations to care for all of western Kansas, Eastern Colorado, and the Oklahoma Panhandle. Established almost 85 years ago, this mission-based hospital continues to grow with hospitalist services, Level III emergency department, seven bed Level II Newborn Intensive care unit and a number of specialty services and clinics.     Garden City is located in the western portion of the state of Kansas.     Responsibilities

    The CRNA independently administers anesthesia to either relieve pain and are promptly available to perfrom at the time the anesthesia care is required.

    • Outpatient surgery center is high volume and quick turnaround.
    • Ability to place spinal and epidural is a must, and preferred experience with peripheral nerve blocks but will teach to the right candidate.
    • MRI and CT sedation, PICC line and Central line placements experience is a plus but again with teach the right candidate.
    • Clinical experience with ortho, general surgery, GYN, scopes and small amounts of plastic surgeries in main OR or surgery center.
    • First call 1:8 and 1:8 second call. Post call days off.
    • Clinical experience in Obstetrics and Pediatrics is required.
    • Candidate must be able to work independently and make quality decisions based on circumstances the patient is experiencing.

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of accredited Program for Nurse Anesthesia
    • Current State of Kansas RN or APRN License.
    • Certification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists; re-certification every two years.
    • BLS with the American Heart Association, ACLS, PALS certification at time of hire.

    Candidates with physician services or related health care experience is a plus. We offer a competitive benefits package.
