    The Compensation Manager will manage the day to day compensation administration including HRIS transaction processing, analysis and auditing.  Assists in strategic compensation design for both short- and long-term company objectives.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

    • Daily manages the Company’s compensation plans and programs including salary evaluations, job descriptions and codes, including the processing of documentation in a timely manner, responding to inquiries about salaries and compensation programs, and coordinating changes of salary and pay with payroll and Human Resources.
    • Annually evaluates and compares existing associate compensation with those of other employers by analyzing surveys, and other sources of information.
    • Manages annual compensation review, including salaries, salary ranges, merit budgets, bonus plans, salary survey submittals, etc.
    • Develops and implements incentive plans.
    • Writes and prepares non-standard ad hoc reports from Exponent/Workday for compensation auditing and analysis.
    • Responds to administration and policy questions.
    • Identifies, suggests and implements ongoing process improvements.
    • Develops mobility strategy
    • Other compensation and HRIS duties as requested.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

    • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of compensation and human resources work.
    • Problem-solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously are essential.
    • Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions.
    • Strong computer skills including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, and HRIS database experience.
    • Requires tact with above average communications skills, both oral and written, and excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Must have a pleasant disposition and high tolerance level.
    • Ability to convey a positive, professional image and work effectively and independently with staff, physicians and external customers.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting or Finance. 
    • Minimum 5 years Human Resources and/or Benefits experience, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
    • Healthcare industry experience preferred.
    • Workday experience preferred
