    The Physician Liaison is engaged in referral growth by establishing and managing the group’s relationships with other health care professionals. The incumbent will identify new marketing opportunities within the community and develop these opportunities while maintaining and enhancing current referral patterns.  The incumbent will use efficient mix of marketing resources such as collaborative relationship marketing skills, marketing materials/ effective communications and other contact mechanisms to acquaint the referral physicians with the strength’s, differentiations, and services the group can provide.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

    1. Develop and implement annual marketing and growth plans including branding, advertising, special events, and cold calls to facilitate marketing of the group and to increase the group’s base of referrals.
    2. Work with physician to indentify highest priority referring physicians and procedures annually
    3. Develop business relations with strategic doctors and facilities
    4. Identify the most efficient marketing mix and develop collateral as necessary and agreed upon by physician to drive new patient referrals. Tracks efforts to ensure revenue growth on a weekly and monthly basis
    5. Effectively work with office manager/staff to address patient referral patterns concerns and proactively indentify new opportunities/efficiencies
    6. Resolves referring physician issues on a timely basis and indentify opportunities to improve process
    7. Creates collaborative relationships between the Group and referral physicians, nurses, referral coordinators and practice administrators.
    8. Generally works independently, under general supervision
    9. Travel as needed or requested
    10. Present highlights, successes, opportunities and reports regularly to leadership
    11. Performs other duties as assigned.



    • Requires a minimum of an associate's degree and 1-4 years of experience in healthcare marketing or operations.  A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, nursing, health care administration or related field is preferred.
    • Intermediate to Advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
