    The Training Administrator will support our training department. This role will be responsible for communicating with participants/vendors and assisting with the development of effective training programs. In this role, there should be a combination of strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. The Training Administrator should be a reliable problem-solver with strong project management skills. The goal of the Training Administrator is to ensure that training programs are engaging and running smoothly.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

    • Support day to day transactional and operational functions of the training department
    • Maintain training records (e.g. trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets)
    • Book classrooms and ensure they are properly set up
    • Prepare and disseminate material (e.g. instructional notes, feedback forms)
    • Act as a point-of-contact for vendors and participants
    • Run reports on training activities and metrics to be submitted to Manager and department
    • Ensure employees and vendors follow established policies
    • Stay abreast of new training methods and work with management to implement/recommend training process changes, as needed
    • Other duties as assigned by management

    JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

    • Proven experience in a Training Administrator, Learning & Development Specialist or similar role
    • Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of databases and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus
    • Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary to aid in the production and deliverance quality training programs.
    • Excellent technical writing skills for development, implementation and maintenance of documentation
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

    • High school graduate or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in education, training or L&D preferred
    • 1-3 years’ experience in training and/or learning & development environment
    • Knowledge of Windows, Power Point, Word and Excel or similar programs required
