    Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information, perform general ledger and financial reporting functions for Pinnacle Anesthesia by performing the following duties.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

    • Prepare and analyze Financial Statements.
    • Reconcile bank statements.
    • General Ledger account reconciliations.
    • Review and analyze Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable entries.
    • Assist in the preparation of Trend Analysis and Forecasting.
    • Assist in the preparation of Annual Operating Budgets.
    • Ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis.
    • Maintains strictest confidentiality.
    • Provides back up support to Accounts Payable and Payroll.
    • Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
    • Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for other managers.
    • Performs other duties as assigned and required.
    • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.


    JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

    • Knowledge of organization policies, procedures and systems.
    • Knowledge of office management practices, and accounting procedures.
    • Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation to type from draft copy, review and edit reports and correspondence.
    • Strong computer skills including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access.
    • Skill in verbal and written communication.
    • Skill in gathering and reporting information.
    • Ability to work effectively and independently with staff, physicians and external customers.
    • Must have a pleasant disposition and high tolerance level.
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
    • Communicate well with the public
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English




    • A Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferably in Accounting
    • 2-5 years prior General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Financial Statement preparation experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
    • Healthcare industry experience preferred
    • Computer skills including word processing, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
