  • Overview

    POSITION SUMMARY: 

     

    We are looking for a strong leader for our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)  team. This person will provide leadership and support to their teams while evaluating and continually looking for improvements and efficiencies in the revenue cycle.  We need a leader with proven strategic and operational background to ensure timely and accurate completion of case information.

     

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

     

    • Participates in identification, development, and implementation of systems to improve process cycle times and assure timely completion
    • Resolves problems through identification and validation of issues, recommends needed improvements and implements solutions as needed
    • Develop and monitor compliance with policies and procedures for revenue cycle management.
    • Monitor productivity of staff members.  Clearly communicate the standards of performance and quality expectations to all staff members
    • Establish benchmarks and drive to maximize performance metrics on service level
    • Build and maintain a positive working relationship with contacts at all agencies, patients, clinical personnel, other staff and management, to promote teamwork and cooperation
    • Maintain OSHA and HIPAA compliance
    • Review audits of tasks and work for accuracy of data entry and provide feedback to staff in a timely and constructive manner
    • Provide leadership and support to managers and supervisors within the department
    • Provide training, on-going education, and coaching/mentoring for staff members
    • Maintain strictest confidentiality and performs other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

     

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced, high volume environment
    • Ability to communicate and work effectively with the RCM leadership team, staff, physicians, and external customers
    • Must be able to keep team members motivated while meeting productivity demands

    EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • A minimum of 5-7 years management experience
    • Revenue cycle management experience required
    • Prefer a minimum of two years experience in an anesthesia revenue setting
