This role provides administrative support to the clinicians and staff of US Anesthesia Partners located at the Methodist Hospital Sugarland location.
This is a part-time to full-time position offering convenient hours for a working parent with school age children.
Performs selected clerical and administrative duties, and assists clinical staff as needed
Maintains appointment schedule; schedules appointments and advises medical staff and patients of scheduling changes
Maintains a record of physician/nursing schedules and days off to avoid scheduling conflicts
Handles incoming mail and/or packages and has them delivered to the proper person upon receipt, processes outgoing mail and distributes faxes
Maintains office supplies, and notifies management of problems
Maintains strict confidentiality; and treats staff, physicians, patients and visitors with respect
Coordinates meetings, training, and events as needed
Manages the administrative onboarding of CRNAs and doctors at Methodist Sugarland
Serves as the key point for the Open Tempo Time Tracking System and administrative resource for MD Cloud
Serves as an information resource to clinical staff and partners, assuring that all persons are responded to efficiently and courteously and are provided with the information they need or are referred to the appropriate party
Assists or prepares correspondence as requested
Performs other related work as required

Required Education and Experience
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Secondary education in healthcare, hospital administration or related field preferred
Knowledge of physician business office procedures
3 years’ experience in clinical administrative support
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Confidence and capability in the use and application of technical systems, software and computer applications
Skill in identifying and resolving problems
Ability to prepare records in accordance with instructions
Ability to exercise a degree of initiative and judgment
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, coworkers and the public
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively orally and in writing
Proficiency in the operation of a computer and other office equipment
Preferred Education and Experience
1 year systems administrator or related systems support experience
This job operates in a clinical office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
