Welcome to US Anesthesia Partners of Florida.   We are one of Florida’s largest anesthesia practices and a founding clinical partner of U.S. Anesthesia Partners (USAP), the nation's largest anesthesia-focused physician services organization. We currently have an opportunity for an IT Operations Specialist to join our support operations team in Maitland, FL.


The IT Specialist’s role is to function as a member of the USAP IT Operations team ensuring the stable operation of the regional office computer network, systems, and mobile devices. This includes participating in the planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimization of all network & systems hardware, software, and communication links. The IT Operations Specialist will also analyze and resolve end user hardware/software computer and mobile device problems in a timely and accurate fashion.


  • Receive, track, and resolve escalated local IT support requests from the national service desk.
  • Assist in the management of servers, including e-mail, application, and database servers and their associated operating systems and software.
  • Assist in the management of security solutions, including corporate firewall, anti-virus, and card key access system.
  • Assist in the management of network hardware.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Provide support to the organization’s mobile phone and tablet infrastructure.
  • Assist in the upgrade of various equipment, hardware and software.
  • Conduct research on products, services, and standards in support of network and system procurement and development efforts.
  • Perform asset management, including maintenance of systems component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
  • Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
  • Monitor the performance of local system backups.
  • Recommend, schedule, and assist in performing network improvements


  • Related degree in the field of computer science, Microsoft certification, and/or 2-years equivalent work experience.
  • Working technical knowledge of the Windows OS
  • Working technical knowledge of Windows and Exchange Server.
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficiency with the iOS platform, iPhone/iPad hardware, and Android
  • Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.
  • Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience.
  • Knowledge of applicable HIPAA privacy and data security practices/laws preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to assist all levels of employees.
